Earlier this year, we were deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and industry colleague, Huw Cawthorn.
To honour his memory, we’re transforming our usual Mooner at the Nat into Huwner at the Nat, with all proceeds going directly to support Huw’s family. Tickets are $35.
Join us for a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of Huw Cawthorn — a respected media professional, dedicated community member, and cherished friend. With over 20 years in the industry, Huw left a lasting impact not just through his work, but through his warmth, humour, and unwavering support for his peers. He was a familiar face at countless industry events, always the first to show up, pitch in, and cheer others on.
In that same spirit, we’re coming together at the Vancouver Canadians game to honour Huw in a way he would’ve loved — surrounded by friends, stories, and summer baseball. This informal gathering is an opportunity for those in the media industry to reconnect, reminisce, and raise a toast to a true original.
